Our premier, Milwaukee-based client, a nationwide professional services consulting firm dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions is seeking a talented and motivated HR professional to join their fast-paced human resources team. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s talent strategy and growth. You will be joining a dynamic team, working hybrid in Milwaukee, and it’s a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a key role in acquiring top talent and supporting our human resources initiatives. This position partners closely with management to recruit and select exceptional candidates for open positions and promotional opportunities. You’ll also assist with compliance reporting, process improvements, career fair initiatives, and training programs.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with management to identify and recruit top candidates for open roles.
- Conduct interviews and participate in candidate selection.
- Assist with affirmative action compliance, including data collection and reporting.
- Provide recommendations to improve HR processes and recruitment strategies.
- Train managers on applicant tracking software and hiring policies.
- Support career fairs and coordinate career fair ambassadors.
- Opportunity to grow into a supervisory or management role for high-performing candidates.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Social Sciences; OR at least 2 years of talent acquisition experience if no degree.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior talent acquisition experience in a full-service A/E firm.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to recruiting, including affirmative action.
- Experience with applicant tracking software (iCIMS a plus).
- HR certification.
- Experience attending or organizing career fairs.
