Senior Sitecore Developer

Our client, the U.S.’s largest commercial real estate services firm, ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sitecore Developer to join a digital technology team supporting corporate marketing websites, business sector websites, and internal marketing applications. This 1-year contract role focuses on developing scalable digital solutions using Sitecore XP and modern headless technologies, including Next.js. The ideal candidate brings extensive Sitecore experience, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across development, marketing, and infrastructure teams. This role is hybrid with onsite expectations Tuesday–Thursday in Richardson, TX.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain corporate marketing websites and business sector websites using Sitecore XP and modern web technologies.
• Build and support internal marketing applications and APIs using headless frameworks such as Next.js.
• Customize Sitecore SXA to support integrations with marketing automation platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), content delivery networks (CDNs), enterprise data lakes, and AI-enabled platforms.
• Develop API-first solutions using REST and GraphQL, including single sign-on (SSO) integrations.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product managers, support engineers, and marketing stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support application performance, scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement of code and deployment processes.
• Work with Azure platform-as-a-service (PaaS) environments and blue/green deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, support post-launch stabilization, and resolve application defects.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept development.
• Ensure applications meet established security, accessibility, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Apply sound technical judgment, prioritize tasks, and communicate project progress and technical considerations clearly.

What You’ll Need

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the Sitecore XP platform.
• Strong experience with Sitecore SXA, Helix architecture, and Scriban templating.
• Understanding of Sitecore platform architecture and databases.
• Experience integrating Sitecore with enterprise marketing and data platforms, including tools such as Coveo, marketing automation systems, CDPs, CDNs, and data lakes.
• Proficiency in API-first development using REST and GraphQL.
• Experience implementing or supporting SSO integrations.
• Experience with Azure PaaS environments and blue/green deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and methodical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks, ask clarifying questions, and drive technical discussions toward resolution.
