ESC has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support CRM and lifecycle marketing operations for our client in Carrollton, TX. This 5-month contract role is focused on the execution of email and push notification campaigns, including campaign building, scheduling, quality assurance, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance reporting.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns through an enterprise marketing platform and a strong attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional to gain experience with a new email platform, contribute to a growing program, and help deliver messaging and promotional content to a large customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and schedule email campaigns from end to end, including template assembly, content population, QA, and deployment.
- Execute push notification campaigns with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform thorough QA of outgoing campaigns, identifying and resolving issues with copy, links, segmentation, formatting, and timing.
- Partner with marketing and business stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective customer communications.
- Work directly with engineering teams to troubleshoot delivery issues, integrations, platform functionality, and other technical problems.
- Leverage the capabilities of the organization's email marketing platform to support campaign execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain campaign performance reports.
- Monitor campaign execution and respond quickly to last-minute changes or updates.
- Support ongoing lifecycle marketing initiatives designed to engage customers and drive traffic through email and push channels.
- Take ownership of campaign quality and ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns through a marketing or email automation platform.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and resolve issues before campaigns are deployed.
- A methodical approach to quality assurance and campaign testing.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to last-minute changes and shifting campaign requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with an enterprise email or marketing automation platform such as Braze, Marketo, or HubSpot.
- Experience with Braze is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS as they apply to email templates.
- Experience with push notification tools or mobile CRM.
- Ecommerce experience, particularly in an environment with a frequently changing product catalog.
- Experience working with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Background in consumer or lifecycle marketing.
