ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paid Search Manager to support our premier client. The Senior Paid Search Manager will join the International Performance Marketing team, leading paid search strategy and hands-on execution across multiple global markets. In this role, you’ll drive customer acquisition and engagement by developing and optimizing paid search campaigns that connect international audiences with content across countries and languages. You’ll be at the forefront of international expansion, managing significant paid search investments and supporting launches of major shows, movies, add-on subscriptions, events, and new products. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with international marketing, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
This position supports the company’s International’s acquisition-focused marketing team working across Canada, LATAM, and EMEA, helping ensure the right media launches in each market. This role starts as a 6-month contract opportunity, working onsite in Seattle, WA.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute paid search strategy across international expansion markets
• Own hands-on campaign creation, optimization, and performance management
• Drive budget optimization and efficiency across large-scale paid search investments
• Lead paid search go-to-market (GTM) planning for major tentpoles and marketplace expansions
• Deliver regular performance analysis, insights, and data-driven recommendations
• Derive critical insights from data to improve acquisition, engagement, and ROI
• Manage competing priorities and make strategic trade-off decisions
• Communicate complex issues, risks, and dependencies to business partners and leadership
• Contribute to experimentation roadmaps and measurement frameworks
• Collaborate with external partners (Croud agency, search vendors including Google, Bing, and Skai)
• Coordinate with internal teams across Business, Marketing, Finance, and BI
• Support SEO improvement initiatives
• Support re-org transitions and handovers
Basic Qualifications
• 6 years of digital marketing experience, including 4 years in Paid Search (strategy and hands-on)
• Proven experience managing large-scale paid advertising budgets ($1M annually)
• Deep expertise in Google Ads and campaign creation (Google Ads Certification – MUST HAVE)
• Experience with paid media platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, Gemini, Facebook, Apple Search Ads
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data manipulation)
• Experience building and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing SEM campaigns across multiple countries and languages
• Experience with A/B testing and marketing measurement (ROI, lifetime value, incrementality)
• Media, entertainment, or subscription services experience
• Hands-on experience with paid search management tools such as:
- Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads Editor
- Skai (formerly Kenshoo), SA360 (DoubleClick Search)
- Acquisio, Marin Software, Quantic Minds
