Our client a top multi-family property management company is seeking to hire a Property Manager (Multi-Site) to join their team in Madison, WI. This is a full-time (direct hire) position that includes a generous salary $55-$60K depending on relevant experience, monthly bonuses ($300-$500/month) and a very strong benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental coverage starting within 30 days of hire, 401(k) with company match after one month, PTO, holidays & b-day off, paid parental leave, rent discounts, and more.
We are seeking a candidate that has at least 2 years of Property Manager experience and the ability to oversee a portfolio of 4-5 apartment complexes in the Madison area. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of each property, maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction, and maximizing the financial performance of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Assist in preparing advertising materials.
- Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
- Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in surrounding area.
- Present creative leasing and marketing ideas
- Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
Lease Administration:
- Maintain resident database and accounts receivable records in computerized Property
- Management system, including Leases, Applications, Security and rent deposits, Rent increases, Bank deposits, Late payments, NSF payments, Collections, Evictions, Move-Ins and Move-outs.
- Prepare and maintain complete resident files including late notices.
- Assist in collection of rents and preparation of receipts.
- Assist with legal proceedings.
- Assist with lease preparation signing and administration.
Resident Service Maintenance:
- Maintain Make Ready Board and assist in scheduling of vacant units for refurbishing and occupancy.
- Assist in maintenance of work order system.
General Office Administration:
- Assist in generating correspondences: letters, memos, notices, newsletters, etc.
- Assist in preparation of all weekly and monthly reports to management.
- Assist in maintaining all required inventories for project supplies and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of Property Manager experience overseeing an apartment complex.
- Experienced managing a team including an Assistant Property Manager, Maintenance Teams, and Leasing professionals.
- Previous experience working with Property Management software, MS Office, Outlook, Word and MS Excel.
- The ability to work weekends when the need of the business requires it.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
