HR Coordinator – Benefits & Leave
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Corporate Office – Onsite)
Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. OT maybe required.
Status: Full-Time, non-Exempt (hourly)
Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services is seeking a highly organized, detail‑driven HR Coordinator – Benefits & Leave to support our multi‑state HR operations. This role owns the day‑to‑day administration of benefits, paid leave, FMLA/LOA processes, compliance reporting, and payroll‑impacting benefit changes. ⭐ What You’ll DoBenefits Administration
- Process new hire benefit enrollments and maintain eligibility accuracy across multiple platforms.
- Manage benefit terminations, carrier updates, deductions, employer contributions, and QLEs.
- Audit benefit deductions and resolve discrepancies with carriers and vendors.
- Maintain benefit plan documents, summaries, and eligibility tracking.
- Support 401(k) administration, including eligibility lists, enrollment steps, and employee questions.
- Assist with annual benefit plan updates, open enrollment tasks, and system changes.
Leave Administration (Paid Leave, FMLA, LOA)
- Administer paid leave benefits, including paid holiday entry, leave hour allocation, and balance audits.
- Respond to employee questions about paid leave.
- Support FMLA/LOA benefit actions, including eligibility tracking, premiums, and return‑to‑work reinstatements.
- Maintain accurate leave documentation and coordinate with payroll and vendors.
Compliance & Reporting
- Complete monthly OSHA hours reporting and distribute safety communications.
- Prepare workers’ compensation reports, wage statements, and document uploads.
- Process ACA coding and generate COBRA notices.
- Support audits related to benefits, ACA, COBRA, and workers’ compensation.
Payroll & Financial Accuracy
- Enter payroll‑impacting benefit changes.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices (Aflac, Medical, Dental, Wellness)
- Prepare benefit‑related reports and support open enrollment data entry.
HRIS & Documentation
- Maintain benefit‑related HRIS accuracy and file retention schedules.
- File benefit documents and support vendor coordination and documentation requests.
- Assist with compliance reviews and internal audits.
Employee Support
- Provide clear, timely support to employees regarding benefits, leave, and enrollment.
- Offer administrative support to senior leadership as needed.
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing HR training and development.
- Obtain a Notary Public commission within 6 months (company-supported).

- Minimum 2 years of administrative, benefits, or related experience (HR experience preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across complex processes.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Critical thinking and anticipatory skills—able to identify issues before they become problems.
- Strong written communication skills for benefit instructions, notices, and documentation.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred), benefits platforms, ACA/COBRA systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Professionalism, discretion, and strong customer service skills when supporting employees and leaders.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a compliance‑driven HR function.

- Prolonged periods of desk/computer work.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Standard office environment with moderate noise.
- Occasional local travel may be required.
⭐ Compensation
Edlen offers a competitive hourly rate for this non‑exempt role. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, education, and market conditions. Range $23.00--$27.00
