About the Role
Edlen is seeking an organized, customer‑focused Event Services Coordinator I (ESC‑I) to support utility services for trade shows, conventions, productions, and special events in the San Francisco market. This entry‑level role is essential to event preparation, exhibitor support, and onsite operations.
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service to exhibitors, facility partners, and internal teams
- Create and maintain event files in TEAMS and File Explorer
- Build order forms and exhibitor kit flyers
- Update event hours and exhibitor information in Edlen’s Event Management Program (EMP)
- Enter and process exhibitor utility orders received via email, mail, and online ordering
- Run required event reports (daily Orders Report, weekly Floor Plan Attachments Report)
- Collect payments before and during events
- Review exhibitor orders and request additional information as needed
- Mark utility orders on floor plans and update as necessary
- Create exhibitor work orders once all information is received
- Provide onsite customer service at the exhibitor service desk during installation and tear‑out
- Process onsite orders, collect funds, and create work orders
- Distribute “no order on file” notices and final invoices
- Prepare booth checks (utilization audits) and enter audit details
- Enter completed work orders onsite and make corrections following audits
- Scan onsite paperwork into event files after event completion
- Maintain safety awareness and report hazards promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of related experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, instructions, and software guides
- Comfort with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong attention to detail in fast‑paced environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Schedule & Requirements
- Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays required based on event schedules
- Schedules may change with little or no notice
- Travel may be required depending on business needs
- Reliable transportation is essential
Compensation
Edlen offers a competitive hourly wage for this role. Final compensation within the posted range is determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market conditions.
