Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities on large-scale construction projects, with a focus on mission-critical environments such as data centres. This role is responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations, while driving a “right first time” quality culture across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical QA/QC activities across the project lifecycle
- Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent
- Oversee installation inspections, snagging, and punch list management
- Manage and review test packs, commissioning documentation, and turnover packages
- Coordinate closely with construction, commissioning, and client teams to ensure system readiness
- Conduct walkdowns and quality audits to verify installation and workmanship standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Lead QA/QC meetings and provide regular progress and quality reports
- Manage and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors on site
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical QA/QC, preferably within data centres or mission-critical projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems (MV/LV distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, cable containment)
- Proven experience managing QA/QC teams and processes on large-scale construction projects
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and system turnover
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on hyperscale or colocation data centre projects
- Knowledge of IST (Integrated Systems Testing) and commissioning practices
- Familiarity with QA/QC software tools (e.g., Procore, BIM 360, CXAlloy)
- Relevant certifications in quality management or commissioning

Salary : $140,000 - $240,000
