What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scada Engineer position at Edison Smart®?
We're working with a fast-growing technology-driven organization supporting complex commercial environments. We are seeking a x2 SCADA Engineer's to lead the design, implementation, and long-term success of complex SCADA and BMS solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Ignition Core or Gold Certified required
Requirements:
• 5–8 years’ experience in the design, deployment, and maintenance of SCADA systems, including strong hands-on experience with Ignition or comparable platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver technical components of complex or multi-site SCADA/BMS projects
Strong Proficiency in:
- PLC development and industrial communication standards/protocols
- Ignition platform configuration, including Designer, Perspective, tag management, and gateway setup
- Industrial networking principles and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity best practices
- Database connectivity and integration, including querying, data historization, and report generation
Salary ranges & Benefits;
- Salary ranges of $105,000 - $130,000 (Depending on experience)
- Good bonus structure
Salary : $105,000 - $140,000
