Edison Smart are looking to hire an experienced Senior Building Automation Project Manager (BAS) to lead the delivery of complex automation and controls projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities for a company located in Raleigh NC.. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who can manage projects from concept through commissioning while ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Building Automation System (BAS) projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Oversee system design reviews, submittals, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and field teams
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Support business development through client relationship management and proposal input
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, or related field
- Proven track record managing complex BAS projects
- Strong knowledge of control systems (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus)
- Experience with major BAS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
