Level 2 Security Technician

EdinAlarm, Inc is seeking to hire an Level 2 System Technician for full-time employment. The System Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and inspection of residential and commercial security and fire alarm monitoring systems, including access control & video surveillance. The pay range is $25/hour to $35/hour depending on knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with security and fire monitoring systems or other similar low-voltage electrical systems. A technical background in other trade industries may also be suitable experience, but a willingness to learn is a must. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.

We are looking for a Senior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems and software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with other technicians and supervisors.
• Perform basic tests on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
