Position Title: Level II Security Guard
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and dependable Level II Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises, enforcing safety regulations, and responding to incidents as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
- Enforce company and client-specific rules, regulations, and policies.
- Prepare detailed and accurate daily activity, incident, and investigation reports.
- Conduct bag checks, ID verification, and security screenings when required.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Level II Security Guard license (or equivalent state certification).
- High school diploma or GED required; additional training in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
