Security Agent Level 1 & Level 2

Chase Security, located in the Twin Cities Metro area of Minnesota, is seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Agents to join our growing team!

While prior experience in security, surveillance, or a related field is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to provide training for the right candidates. Previous qualified certificates to be provided during hiring.

Position Overview
Our Security Agents play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management. Agents are expected to respond promptly and professionally to incidents while consistently enforcing safety protocols and procedures and company standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.
• Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds.
• After business hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
• Investigate reports of suspicious activity on and around the property.
• Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
• Lock doors and gates of entrances and exits to secure buildings.
• Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Respond to medical emergencies by administering basic first aid or by obtaining assistance from paramedics.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of premises.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
• Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closed.
• Call local police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or the presence of unauthorized persons.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• Escort or drive a motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
• Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, furnace, or boiler.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Authoritative verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
• Strong conflict management abilities
• Familiarity with surveillance techniques

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security Agent training certifications preferred.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
• Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

• Reliable transportation to and from locations

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
