Job Title: RLA Teacher Location: Edgewood Middle School Job Description: Edgewood ISD is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable individual to join our team as a RLA Teacher. This position requires a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of the assigned subject matter, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Assessment & Student Growth: Conduct ongoing formal and informal assessments to monitor achievement, adjust instruction, and support individual learning styles, including IEP modifications. Classroom Environment & Management: Create a safe, positive, and structured learning environment that supports students’ academic, physical, social, and emotional development, while managing behavior in accordance with district guidelines. Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, special education staff, parents, and community members to support instructional goals and maintain open, professional communication. Professional Responsibilities: Participate in staff development, fulfill extracurricular and committee duties, maintain required documentation, and comply with district, state, and board policies.
