Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our team in Dracut, MA. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and ISO 9001, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting end-of-line product testing, in-process inspection, receiving inspection, and failure analysis within the quality control. Ensures reliable testing to ISO, MED, MER and standards and accurately reports quality defects/deviations from standards. Prepare accurate tests and associated reports as required. Utilizes specialized equipment and approved methodologies to perform and evaluate testing activities. Supports Quality Control Section activities to ensure that they are always ready for third party auditing/certification (ISO 9001:2015, MED, MER, CE). Conducts internal audit activities as required. Assists quality control scheduling and aids efficient completion. Supports organizations continuous improvement goals. A successful Quality Control Technician is well organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and excels in communications with internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts rigorous testing of materials against established International Standards (ISO), Marine Equipment Directive (MED), Marine Equipment Regulation (MER) and customer requested standards using a variety of equipment, materials and test methods.
- Maintains critical data, measurement and testing results, ensuring traceability and accurate documentation/reporting of results to customers for all products offered. Ensures results are organized, traceable, and retrievable upon request.
- Identifies training and process improvement opportunities and implements actions to ensure continuous improvement. Supports training program objectives.
- Complies with company, safety, personal protective equipment, and quality program standards.
- Provides customer service and support as needed; may communicate with customers, or suppliers, on occasion.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office suite of products and ability to learn various software programs and applications.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Required Skills or Abilities & Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma. An associate’s degree in an Engineering field, Quality Assurance, or a relatable field is preferred.
- Experience with ISO, MED, MER standards as they relate to material testing and quality control is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office suite of products and ability to learn various software programs and applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- A combination of education and experience may meet the above requirements.
- Typical 1st shift position: be able to support extended shift, or flex schedule, as required.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
