Hospitality Aides

Edenbrook on Second Avenue is seeking compassionate and dependable Hospitality Aides to join our care team. This is a non-certified support role designed to enhance the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Hospitality Aides will focus on providing 1:1 attention and personalized escort services for residents throughout the facility, helping to ensure their emotional and physical needs are met during daily activities. This position is ideal for individuals interested in a healthcare career and looking to gain experience in a supportive and meaningful environment.

Position: Hospitality Aides (PRN Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 attention and companionship to assigned residents as directed by nursing staff.
• Escort residents safely to and from meals, therapy sessions, activities, and appointments within the facility.
• Offer emotional support and assist in creating a calm and comforting environment.
• Assist with non-clinical tasks such as bed-making, tidying resident rooms, and passing water or snacks.
• Observe and report changes in resident behavior or condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Engage residents in conversation or recreational activities to promote socialization.
• Collaborate with CNAs and nurses to support residents’ individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

• No prior certification required – training provided on site.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Genuine interest in helping others, especially the elderly or disabled.
• Patience, empathy, and a respectful demeanor are essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from nursing staff.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
