Description:
Provide direct clinical supervision to classroom teachers and behavior specialists. Provide ABA training to teachers/behavior specialists/assistants on reinforcement, behavior plan implementation, data collection and professionalism. Supervising proper IEP development, implementation and progress reports
Schedule meetings within compliance and ensure that all necessary documentation is provided from teachers/ therapists to CPSE/ CSE in a timely manner. Supervise the development of quarterly reports. Develop educational curriculum and train teachers in their application. Assist teachers in conducting NYSAA. Conduct student clinics evaluating programming, instruction, and materials as well as providing follow up recommendations. Conduct behavior assessments, develop behavior plans and train all staff in the classroom. Conduct staff observation and write formal evaluations. Requires year end evaluations for teaching assistant staff.
Skills Needed
NYS Certified Teacher or BCBA / LBA. DOE fingerprinting clearance. Master’s degree in a related field. NY State Department of Education certification preferred.
Pay Rate
$90,000-$110,000
