What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCBA School Clinical Coordinator position at Eden II Programs?
Eden II Programs has a great opportunity for a full-time Clinical Coordinator who has their BCBA in our school program located in Staten Island, NY. The Coordinator provides clinical direction and oversight to classroom staff (students ages 6-21 that have an autism diagnosis) under the general supervision of the program Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing direct clinical supervision to classroom teachers and behavior specialists
- Providing ABA training to teachers/behavior specialists/teacher assistants on reinforcement, behavior plan implementation, data collection, and professionalism
- Supervising proper IEP development, implementation, and progress reports
- Scheduling meetings within compliance and ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided from teachers/therapists to CPSE/CSE in a timely manner
- Supervise the development of quarterly reports
- Develop educational curriculum and train teachers
- Assist teachers in conducting NYSAA
- Conduct student clinics evaluation programming, instruction, and materials as well as providing follow up recommendations
- Conduct behavior assessments, develop behavior plans and train all staff in the classroom
- Conduct staff observation and write formal evaluations. Requires year end evaluations for teaching assistant staff
Required Skills/Experience:
- BCBA
- Master’s degree in special education or a related field.
- New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education and/or BCBA required.
- Experience with ABA and working with individuals with autism.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills as well as written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of classroom management.
