Director of Marketing

What You'll Do

ECRS is seeking a results-driven marketing leader to guide strategy and oversee execution across the Marketing Department. The Director of Marketing will shape brand positioning, drive product adoption, and lead promotional efforts to support sales growth. This role sets team standards, ensures operational efficiency, and develops annual marketing plans and policies. Ideal candidates are organized, assertive, collaborative, proactive, strategic critical thinkers and are committed to continuous improvement.

In This Role, You Will

• Develop an annual marketing plan, including strategy, tactics, and resources in support of long-term organizational strategy and objectives. 
• Advise executive leadership on market trends, brand positioning, and customer insights
• Direct implementation and execution of marketing policies and tactics. 
• Oversee and approve department investments and expenditures in alignment with executive leadership. 
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of new business initiatives, processes, or positions. 
• Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints
• Oversee the development and execution of all marketing-related tasks, including product marketing, communications, tradeshows and customer/prospect events, and branding. 
• Recruit, retain, coach, and lead professional, competent, and effective team members. 
• Provide support and foster coordination and alignment with other ECRS departments. 
• Oversee and direct market research, competitor analysis, and customer service and retention monitoring processes and initiatives. 
• Formulate and maintain relevant metrics and present to the Executive Team via internal platforms. 
• Ensure fiscal responsibility by managing, tracking, and reporting budget expenditures in alignment with organizational expectations, goals, and compliance standards.
• Track and report KPIs such as ROI, customer acquisition cost, and conversion rates
• Conduct market research to inform decisions and identify opportunities
• Optimize campaigns based on performance data and feedback.
• Build a high-performing team culture.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing AND 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a marketing leadership role. 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead a team. 
• A strong predisposition to challenge and lead teams to outperform and win in the marketplace.  
• Thorough and deep understanding of the B2B software industry. 
• Thorough and deep understanding of B2B marketing concepts and best practices. 
• Proven ability to balance strategic planning with successful execution. 
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. 
• Record of accomplishment of continuous improvement to the organization in previous roles. 
• Capable of managing multiple priorities to meet changing requirements. 
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills. 
• Strong personal desire to produce high quality work and commitment to detail.
