Overview
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining reliable day-to-day technology operations across the organization. This role provides hands-on support for employees, contractors, and interns by resolving support requests, managing hardware and software resources, and assisting with company systems and collaboration tools. The position ensures users have consistent access to the tools and equipment needed to perform their work effectively.
Responsibilities
Help Desk & Technical Support
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests across the organization.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, connectivity, and user access.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain clear documentation of issues and resolutions.
Hardware Setup & Asset Management
- Oversee computer setup, imaging, and distribution for new hires and refresh cycles.
- Manage device returns and maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory.
- Support and maintain computer hardware and peripherals for all teams.
- Handle the full lifecycle of IT equipment and related assets.
Software & Application Support
- Install, configure, and support user applications, including tools used by field teams.
- Assist with deployment and configuration using modern device management solutions (e.g., Autopilot).
- Manage software access, licensing, and compliance.
Collaboration & Facilities Support
- Provide support for meeting room technology, conferencing tools, and A/V setups.
- Assist with printer setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Support employee access systems and related infrastructure.
Mobile Device Support
- Manage and support mobile devices for field staff, ensuring proper setup, security, and compliance.
Education & Experience Required
- 1 years of experience in IT support or a related technical support role.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Experience with hardware configuration, device management platforms (e.g., Intune/Autopilot), and asset tracking tools.
- Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and printer management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
