As a Senior QHSE Coordinator at Ecosulis, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and promoting positive improvements in compliance, health, safety, quality and environmental culture in our business. You will work closely with the Support Team and the Site Management Team to provide a comprehensive, proactive, and professional QHSE service aimed at continual improvement within the business and promoting a culture focussing on each aspect of QHS&E.

As a Senior QHSE Coordinator at Ecosulis, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and promoting positive improvements in compliance, health, safety, quality and environmental culture in our business. You will work closely with the Support Team and the Site Management Team to provide a comprehensive, proactive, and professional QHSE service aimed at continual improvement within the business and promoting a culture focussing on each aspect of QHS&E.
Roles And Responsibilities To Include
- Oversee and have overall responsibility of the approved subcontractor database (including site docs) ensuring all subcontractors and suppliers are accredited and profiles are in date and communicating with all stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Ultimate responsibility for ISO compliance ensuring all processes and procedures are monitored, regularly audited and remain in alignment with the company standards and industry best-practice. Ensure readiness for ISO external audits and co-manage ISO audits.
- QHSE documentation relating to policies, procedures and health and safety documentation (including but not limited to toolbox talks, COSHH assessments, RAMS, Risk assessments, Safe systems of work, evacuation plans, HAVS, annual fitness for work assessments, temporary works, PPE, How-to guides, templates and subcontractor documentation.)
- Manage annual safety monitoring including COSHH register and assessments, LOLER, safety training, policies and procedures by completing annual review, coordinate updates, review assessments for COSHH, SSoW, TBTs etc.
- Oversee the risk assessment program management in line with legislation changes and ensuring they are current.
- Draft and review tender answers to tender questions and produce/update documents to support tender submissions with relation to health and safety.
- Carry out accident/incident and near miss investigations and record actions and close out actions. Including any further reporting if required such as RIDDOR and coordinate the necessary people in the business to deliver the correct actions.
- Reporting and escalating any serious incidents/accidents and concerns to the SLT and board.
- To be responsible for the overall compliance of all health and safety training in the business.
- Identify mandatory QHSE training where appropriate for staff, identifying training needs and escalating this through the training process to the support/HR team for booking.
- Ensure quality and compliance with project job lifecycle on project management software and file storage platform. (SharePoint and WFM)
- Be responsible and accountable for the carbon calculations and carbon submission
- Be the main liaison for the business for our external competent H&S advisor and other QSHE external advisors where applicable.
- Run the work H&S committee on a monthly basis
- Site safety audits and subsequent reporting.

- CSCS card
- NVQ level 5/6 or equivalent in Health and Safety.
