Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring all spaces are inviting and well-organized.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors in common areas and back-of-house spaces to uphold safety and aesthetic standards.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently while adhering to inventory guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and continued safety for guests and staff.
- Follow all health and safety protocols related to cleaning procedures and the handling of hazardous materials.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management to maintain overall facility excellence.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards consistently.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and customer service principles is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy supplies.
