Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality cleaning services, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, uphold safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement in cleanliness and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures.
• Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks efficiently to optimize productivity and service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, floor care, and maintenance standards are met consistently.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance.
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, industrial cleaning, and equipment handling.
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any cleanliness or maintenance issues swiftly.

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry.
• Strong background in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of janitorial equipment operation, safety standards, and custodial best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 44.0 per week
