Gutter Installer / Instalador de Canaletas (Se Habla Español)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gutter Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters on residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal water drainage and protection. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality and durability of our projects, helping clients safeguard their properties against weather-related damage. This position offers an energetic work environment where safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine gutter placement and specifications
• Install various types of gutters, including metal roofing, siding, and single-ply membrane roofing systems, using hand tools and power tools
• Ensure proper alignment, sealing, caulking, and fastening of gutters to meet safety standards and project requirements
• Use ladders safely and effectively while adhering to construction safety harnesses and workplace safety regulations
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and restoration of existing gutter systems as needed
• Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks such as metal stud framing, tile laying, concrete forming, and fabrication
• Follow all safety protocols during outdoor work activities involving heavy lifting, working at heights, or operating machinery

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing repair, siding installation, or related trades
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or plans
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including ladder use and safety harnesses
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, caulking equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
• Strong understanding of roofing systems such as metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing
• Hands-on experience with construction site activities like metal stud framing or tile laying is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions from construction plans or technical specifications
• Valid experience in interpreting technical drawings related to roofing or siding projects is preferred
• Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record
