About the Role:
The Sanitation Associate responsibilities include help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, machinery, and work areas while following company safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a cold environment, able to perform physically demanding tasks, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and product quality throughout the facility.

Pay Range: $17.16 – $17.16 per hour
Shift: Days Vary, 7:30 PM – until production is complete
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Sanitize machinery and production equipment using approved cleaning solutions
-Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment to maintain facility floors
-Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of trash dock areas
-Clean and trim product according to quality control and customer specifications
-Remove defective or undesirable product as needed
-Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety procedures
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Assist with additional sanitation and cleaning tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
-Bilingual in Spanish Required
-Previous industrial sanitation or cleaning experience preferred
-Ability to work in a cold environment with temperatures around 35 degrees
-Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
-Comfortable working long shifts as needed
-Reliable transportation required
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
-Must pass a background check
