Position OverviewEchelon USA is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator to oversee and optimize production activities executed through contract manufacturing partners. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate forecasting, production scheduling, inventory alignment, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has strong experience with ERP systems—particularly NetSuite—and a proven track record in production planning within a manufacturing or supply-chain environment.

- Monitor production progress, resolve delays, and adjust plans as necessary based on capacity, material availability, and real-time issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturers regarding production planning, timelines, and deliverables.
- Maintain all production planning data, work orders, BOM updates, and scheduling within NetSuite.
- Track inventory levels, lead times, and safety stock to prevent shortages or excess.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations—preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing production through contract manufacturers
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity planning.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Strong Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with demand planning or S&OP workflows.
- Netsuite experience is a plus
