Seeking an experienced Estate Planning Specialist to join a financial planning team serving high-net-worth clients.
This is a 100% advisory role with no business development or origination. You'll focus on helping clients understand their existing estate plans, identify gaps, and explore strategies aligned with their long-term goals. Structured 40-hour week, with great work-life balance.
The position is client-facing and educational in nature (not legal advice), with collaboration across financial planning, investments, and tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Review estate documents (Wills, Trusts, POAs, etc.) to identify risks and opportunities
- Partner directly with clients to gather and analyze estate planning information
- Educate clients on estate planning concepts and strategies
- Collaborate with Financial Planners, Investment Counselors, and Tax Managers
- Manage ongoing client and internal communications
Qualifications and Experience
- 8 years in estate/trust planning
- Experience with complex, high-net-worth estates
- J.D. required
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly
