Our firm focuses on Probate, Estate Planning, Guardianship, and Real Estate matters, including occasional real estate litigation. This is a client-facing role, requiring direct communication with clients, referral partners, and other attorneys. The practice of law is fundamentally a service profession, and we are seeking an attorney who takes pride in providing excellent client care while maintaining strong professional standards.
We are seeking an attorney who will become an integral part of our firm's long-term growth. This role is primarily in-person, working out of either the Auburndale or Orlando office, with occasional travel between offices or to surrounding counties for hearings or client meetings.
Compensation includes a base salary with a revenue-based quarterly bonus structure, allowing motivated attorneys to significantly increase their income as their caseload and production grow. Alternative arrangements, including Of Counsel relationships, may be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients in Probate, Estate Planning, Guardianship, and Real Estate matters.
- Advise and represent clients through probate administration, estate planning matters, guardianship proceedings, and real estate issues.
- Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate pleadings, guardianship pleadings, and real estate documents.
- Attend hearings and court proceedings in Polk, Orange, and surrounding counties when necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and manage matters efficiently from intake through completion.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality legal services.
- Utilize the firm's case management, billing, and document generation systems effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
Qualifications
- Florida Bar license in good standing.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using technology and legal practice management systems.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously.
- Commitment to providing excellent client service.
- Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards.
Preferred qualifications include experience in probate, estate planning, guardianship, or real estate law, though attorneys with related experience will also be considered.
