Ridges Care Center is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for our Skilled Nursing Community (Transitional Care units, Long Term Care) in Burnsville, Minnesota! This role leads, supervises and directs, and/or delegates all nursing functions on the assigned unit or floor to assure care is provided per plan of care. This position must demonstrate sound management skills through problem-solving and decision-making. They are responsible for supervising in compliance with State and Federal regulations, as well as Ebenezer Standards and policies. Team includes a Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Social Worker, and more.
This weekend nursing schedules include;
- 32 hours every two weeks
- Dayshift
- One weekend per month

Job Responsibilities:
- Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice, and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards
- Assures Care Plan, medical records, and other documentation are up to date
- Administers medications and performs treatments per physician's orders and facility policies
- Reports problem areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions
- Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned
Required:
- Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered Nurse
- RN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing
- Current CPR /BLS certified
- One to three years of experience
- Basic Computer Skills
Preferred:
- Supervisory skills
- Point Click Care knowledge
