Life Enrichment Director

The Trails of Orono Senior Living community is located in a serene wooded setting just west of Minneapolis near Highways 12 and I-494 in Wayzata, MN. Managed by Ebenezer, we host 59 units among our Independent/Assisted Living and Memory care residential settings. Our exceptional and tenured caregivers believe in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.

We are looking for a Life Enrichment Director to join our team that develops, plans, implements, and evaluates the life enrichment programming which provides for the optimization of resident physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cognitive well-being. Life Enrichment Directors help bring to life Ebenezer's cornerstones: Life Long Learning, Dimensions Program for Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary, Spiritual Care, Wellness, and Intergenerational Programming.

This life enrichment managment schedule includes;

• 80 hours every two weeks ; full time
• Day Shift
• Weekends as needed

Responsibilities: 

• Develops program and activities reflective of resident interests
• Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents
• Coordinates community volunteers
• Drives Ebenezer van/bus for resident outings
• Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to:
  • Follows and stays updated on relevant policies and procedures
  • Implements work guidelines and suggestions to assure staff clearly understand and can follow and perform activities
  • Serves as main contact with community organizations
  • Conducts resident focus groups and/or one-to-one meetings to ascertain interests and preferences in activities and events
  • Ensures compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree
• Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
• Must be insurable under the employer’s/communities Auto Insurance Coverage
• One to Three Years – must have minimum of two years’ experience in Assisted Living or SNF programming
• Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
• Is flexible and willing to expand and adapt to changes in the Assisted Living field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: List – Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy
• Three to five years of previous experience

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.

$23.61 - $33.34 Hourly
