Meadows on Fairview TCU is located in the city of Wyoming, MN, steps away from the Fairview Lakes Hospital and a short distance from Forest Lake and North Branch. We offer a home like atmosphere where you feel like you belong the minute you arrive! Our 14-bed Transitional Care Unit is small enough to get to know your co-workers and residents yet large enough to provide you with opportunities and room to grow.
We are looking for a Chef to join our team at Meadows on Fairview TCU in Wyoming, MN! This position is responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and customer expectations.
This nutrition services schedule includes;
- Casual / on call
- Day / evening shift
- 10 hour shift
- Must pick up three shifts a month; one being a weekend shift
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation
- Handle and prepare food in a safe manner following policies and procedures of infection control and safety
- Sanitize equipment and work area after each use
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- One to Three Years
- Must be 18 years old
- Food Sanitation Safety within 90 Days or Certified Food Protection Manager (must be issued on the state of Minnesota for locations in the state of MN) within 90 Days
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate of Arts or Vocational/Technical Training - Food Service
- Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications
