This role is ideal for someone who is organized, guest-focused, and excited to grow within a dynamic hospitality sales environment. The coordinator works closely with the Private Dining Manager to ensure seamless planning, communication, and on-site coordination for events of all sizes. Reports to the Private Events Sales Manager and General Manager of Restaurants.Event Coordination & Guest CommunicationRespond to private dining and event inquiries in a timely, polished, and professional mannerSchedule and conduct site visits and walkthroughs with potential clientsAssist in preparing proposals, contracts, and BEOsSupport client communication pre- and post-event (menus, timelines, headcount, etc.)Administrative & Platform SupportMaintain accurate records in event management platforms (Tripleseat, Reposite, etc.)Help track deposits, payments, and required documentationCoordinate details with culinary and service teams to ensure accurate event planningPrepare printed menus, signage, and event collateral as neededDay-of Event SupportAssist with event setup and breakdown alongside FOH and BOH teamsGreet clients and serve as their on-site point of contactLiaise between client and service team to ensure expectations are metMonitor service flow and timelines to support smooth executionReporting & FeedbackSupport post-event recaps and feedback collectionLog guest feedback and identify trends for continuous improvementCommunicate regularly with the Private Dining Manager and Corporate CoordinatorQualifications2 years of experience in private dining, catering, events, or a related hospitality fieldStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsExceptional organization and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Tripleseat, Reposite, SevenRooms a plusFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event needsPassion for Italian food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiencesJob RequirementsAbility to stand/walk for up to 4 hoursAbility to lift up to 25 lbsFlexibility to support events across multiple NYC locationsCompensation: This position pays a base rate of $25–$28 per hour CommissionAdditional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!Eataly is an equal employment opportunity employer.
