Reports to the Fish/Meat Counter Manager.Assists guests with fish selection, and shares knowledge of preparation and cooking techniquesCuts and cleans fish and shellfish, and cooks for saladsWeighs, packages and labels fishDisplays and stores food in the appropriate temperature conditions as per Department of Health standardsStocks counter neatly, accurately and in a timely manner as per pricing menu, and promptly informs management when fish quantities or supplies are lowCleans work station thoroughlyPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications1 year of experience working with fresh fishGood knife skillsCustomer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredJOB REQUIREMENTS Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to work with knives, hand tools, utensils and equipment to cut fish Food Handler’s LicenseCompensation: The base pay for this position is $20-$24 per hour.
