Warehouse Lead – Distribution | Fontana, CA
Full-Time | $24–$26/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
A leading distribution company in Fontana, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support daily operations and drive efficiency across logistics, inventory, and administrative functions. This is a long-term opportunity with growth potential for a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on a leadership support role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support warehouse operations across inbound and outbound processes to meet productivity targets.
- Convert sales orders into packing slips and prioritize order fulfillment.
- Track inventory and manage documentation for shipping and receiving.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics providers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; support root cause analysis and preventative measures.
- Procure materials and supplies necessary for warehouse and logistics activities.
- Collect and analyze operational data; recommend and report on process improvements.
- Handle administrative functions at the warehouse location, including scheduling and reporting.
- Prepare daily and weekly schedules for shipping and receiving.
- Perform other duties as needed to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and/or ERP systems.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving operational challenges.
- Experience in procurement, inventory, logistics, scheduling, and data entry preferred.
