Job Title: Debug Repair Technician
Location: Fremont, CA
Shift: 1st, and swing shift
Pay Range: $20 - $28/hr
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
We are seeking a hands-on Debug / Repair Technician to support server repair and testing operations in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in server, PC, or electronics repair, who enjoy troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Candidates with a strong electronics repair background (component-level repair, diagnostics, hardware troubleshooting) are encouraged to apply and will be considered qualified for this role.
Key Responsibilities
*
Perform repair and debug activities on Quanta MSFT server products to meet quality and commercial standards
*
Support repair and final testing of L10–L11 server assemblies (preferred)
*
Conduct final testing on finished goods prior to shipment
*
Meet daily production targets (10 units/day initially, progressing to 15 units/day after ramp-up)
*
Record defective parts and repair data in the shop floor database
*
Collaborate with Test Engineering to support root cause analysis and corrective actions
*
Maintain quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the repair process
Required Skills & Qualifications
*
Experience in server, PC, system, or electronics repair and troubleshooting
*
Strong understanding of hardware diagnostics and repair processes
*
Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
*
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
*
Ability to work independently while also contributing as a team player
*
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Education & Experience
*
High school diploma or 2 years of equivalent hands-on repair experience
*
College or technical training is a plus but not required
*
Electronics repair experience (component-level, board repair, hardware diagnostics) is highly valued and accepted in lieu of direct server experience
Physical Requirements
*
Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for extended periods
*
Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks
*
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
*
Comfort working both at a workstation and on the production floor
