Our clinical intern will support the Community-Based Services program by providing direct client engagement, assisting with assessments, and contributing to treatment planning under licensed supervision.
This role offers hands-on experience in delivering person-centered, trauma-informed care within clients’ homes and community settings, while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team to promote stability, skill-building, and overall well‑being.

Qualifications
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited College or University
- Computer proficiency and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Attend Easter Seals Community Based Services orientation.
- Attend regional meetings on a regular basis across the state to learn about programmatic functioning as it relates to clinical services.
- Attend clinical rounds meetings on a regular basis to participate in high risk clinical discussions with consulting physician.
- Attend clinical group supervision meetings on a regular basis to engage in clinical/program development discussions.
- Complete a macro-level social work project with Director of Clinical Services (project to be identified and agreed upon with Masters Level Intern).
- Work with Director of Clinical Services on development and deliverance of statewide clinical trainings for staff and managers.
- Collaborate with Easter Seals Masters Level Clinician to observe/engage in direct clinical work with consumers, including co-facilitating a therapeutic group.
- Collaborate with Easter Seals behavior specialists to observe/engage in direct clinical work with consumers, including collecting behavioral data to inform plans and interventions at high risk/high need staffed residence for individuals with problematic sexual behavior and/or aggression.
- Work with Director of Clinical Services & Wellness Coach/Clinician on Wellness program development, implementation, and evaluation. Program is designed to enhance wrap around, holistic treatment and support long term healthy lifestyle habits and mental health symptom management.
- Work with Director of Clinical Services on connecting clinical department to regional mental health centers to support improved quality of care statewide.
- Collaborate with Anthem Care Coordinators to observe/engage in community outreach, networking, intake assessments, client engagement, identifying community resources, and gaining a greater understanding of macro systems across the state.
