Job Title: Print Shop Assistant
General Definition: Under the supervision of the Print Shop Director the Assistant will support daily operations within a print production environment. This role involves assisting with composition, printing, finishing, customer service, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. They should at all times be respectful and willing to meet the needs of tribal citizens, the local community, and their peers.

Essential Job Functions:
· Assists customers with the design and production requirements for all job requests.
· Prepare and print a wide variety of forms and documents (e.g. multicolor reports, announcements, forms, letterhead, flyers, pamphlets, business cards, etc.) to the customers satisfaction.
· Reviews materials submitted for duplication (e.g. spelling, layout, paper-request, etc.) for the purpose of correcting errors and avoiding unnecessary expenses and meeting customer’s expectations of a professional product.
· Assists with tribal functions and events as requested.
· Provides direct support to the Print Shop Director as needed.
· Other job duties as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 3-5 years of experience in in a print shop preferred
· Graphic Arts experience preferred
· Computer literacy required
· Multi-tasking required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Adobe Products preferred
· Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to handle multi-functions
· Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner
· Highly detail orientated
Physical Demands and Typical Working Conditions
· Office environment may occasionally be noisy
· Work is typically performed during the day shift, but hours may occasionally vary based on departmental needs.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
· Must be able to pass an adjudicated background check
· Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result
· Must possess a valid driver's license
· Must have positive verifiable employment references.
Salary : $17
