Position Summary:
Under general supervision, facilitate a smooth flow to the warehouse for customer order picking.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
- Scan and assign customer orders
- Process and assign Will Call orders
- Manifest truck deliveries
- Perform order lookups
- Process and assign cut and shearing orders
- Utilize order dashboard to assign orders to a scan gun
Education:
- High School diploma preferred
Qualifications:
- 2 years of clerical, administrative or customer service experience
- Experience in fishing/boating industry preferred but not required
- Strong phone customer service skills
- Proactive customer service, excellent communication and follow up, detail oriented, motivated, self-starter with a high work ethic along with good analytical problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and experienced working with computers and the ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment and have the ability to interact professionally and positively with others within the department and organization
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Typical office environment – moderate noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
