2nd Shift - 9am - till work is complete - $1,500 Sign-On Bonus
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, check, store and organize materials from the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code
- Restock material in assigned bin location; or fill requisitions for materials and distribute items to designated delivery trucks
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together; package orders for shipping, pick up or truck delivery
- Measure, cut and package material
- Complete Material Movement paperwork
- Open boxes, crates, and other containers
- Examine stock for deterioration and defects, and reports findings
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Inspect Raymond fork lift daily for damages and report findings
- Load and operate Raymond fork-lifts; load trucks for next day deliveries
- Keep warehouse and work area organized at all times
- Comply with Company and OSHA policies; participate in safety and accident preventative meetings
- Wear safety equipment at all times
- Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications:
- Fork lift experience a plus, but not necessary
- Basic math skills
- Read tape measure
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Lift and carry heavy material up to 50 lbs.; climb, crawl, and stoop to reach material; bend at the waist, kneel or crouch for extended periods of time; reach overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally
