East End Welding is looking for a dependable, hands-on Shipping & Receiving / Driver to join our team.
This isn't a job where you'll spend your entire day doing one thing. You'll help prepare finished products for shipment, receive incoming materials, operate material-handling equipment, make pickups and deliveries, maintain accurate records, and work directly with our production teams to keep materials flowing where they're needed.

What You'll Do
- Prepare, wrap, package, and shrink-wrap finished goods for shipment.
- Safely load and unload materials using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Make customer and supplier pickups and deliveries using company vehicles, including loads up to 12,000 lbs.
- Properly secure loads and maintain safe weight distribution.
- Prepare packing lists, shipping documents, and ERP transactions.
- Package shipments for carriers including FedEx and UPS.
- Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Identify and report shortages, damage, and other receiving discrepancies.
- Accurately receive and track materials in the ERP/MRP system.
- Store and move materials to the appropriate departments and work areas.
- Support inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and material organization.
- Move materials between departments and buildings.
- Help production teams with packaging and general shop support when needed.
- Assist with equipment such as stress-relief furnaces after training.
- Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-minded, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- A hands-on, self-motivated approach to work.
- A team-first mindset and willingness to help where needed.
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment, or the willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL is a plus, depending on the scope of the position.
What to Expect
This is an active, hands-on position in a manufacturing/shop environment. You'll spend much of the shift standing, walking, moving materials, and working around industrial equipment. You must be able to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely.
