Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the facility
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and data entry systems
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery
- Maintain precise inventory records within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
- Ensure compliance with shipping logistics standards and international trade regulations when applicable
- Assist with stock replenishment, order picking, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer demands
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and storage areas to uphold safety standards and optimize warehouse operations
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers, preferably with forklift certification and experience operating RF scanners or order pickers
- Familiarity with inventory management software, warehouse management systems
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment procedures
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Excellent data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior customer service experience is a plus, as effective communication with team members is essential
