What You'll Do
Material Handling & Production Support
- Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Load, unload, transport, and stage materials safely and efficiently.
- Deliver production kits and materials to welders and fitters according to production schedules.
- Ensure workstations remain stocked and production teams have what they need to stay productive.
- Transfer completed parts to machining, paint, shipping, and other downstream operations.
- Maintain accurate part identification, labeling, and organization.
Inventory & Accuracy
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Verify material kits and bill of materials (BOMs) for completeness.
- Monitor stock levels of consumables, packaging materials, and supplies.
Shipping & Receiving Support
- Assist with packaging, skidding, and shipment preparation.
- Support receiving, material storage, and material issuance processes.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment.
Equipment Operation
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and related material handling equipment.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and welding shop environment.
