Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing processes
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support kitchen staff
- Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and organizing storage areas
- Buss tables and assist with food service duties to ensure smooth flow during busy meal periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Must have open availability on week nights and weekends
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, or supporting culinary teams in banquet or large-event settings preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and cleaning procedures
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Prior hospitality or food service experience that demonstrates reliability and a positive attitude
