Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. Prior restaurant, catering, or hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Support kitchen staff with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Help with basic food preparation for banquets or catering events as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations through regular cleaning routines
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist in setting up and breaking down catering or banquet services when required
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform basic cooking and food preparation tasks
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
