What You’ll Do

Provide outstanding customer service and guide customers through product selection with warmth, professionalism, and ECC-aligned values.

Verify customer eligibility

Build orders, process transactions, and maintain accuracy while using our POS system.

Maintain deep knowledge of ECC products, and strains — sharing information confidently and accurately with customers.

Support daily retail operations including phone inquiries, inventory counts, restocking, merchandising, and maintaining store aesthetics.

Assist with menu maintenance, product displays, and in-store educational materials.

Follow ECC security procedures and uphold compliance standards at all times.

Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment, including daily cleaning tasks.

Work collaboratively with the Retail Management team to meet sales goals and support brand initiatives.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly, informative, and professional manner.

Strong attention to detail, especially when handling compliance and inventory tasks.

Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Personal familiarity with cannabis and willingness to continue learning.

Ability to work in close proximity to teammates with respect and awareness.

Outgoing, team-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.

Schedule & Availability

Our retail dispensary is open 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, seven days a week.

Team members must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekend availability is essential for this role.

• Must be 21 and eligible for the Maine OCP Individual Identification Card (IIC)
• Intermediate math skills and strong computer proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Cannabis retail or industry experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Intermediate-level math skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner
• Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Personal experience with cannabis

• Analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures
• Proven expertise and experience to accurately manage a register
• Experience training new hires in a previous job
• Experience as a “key holder” in a retail environment
• Knowledge of the state’s cannabis regulations
• 5 years in retail

Overall: Mid-level (2-5 years) or higher
