The East Bridgewater Music Department is seeking a part-time Color Guard instructor to join our team!About Us: The East Bridgewater Music Program is a program with a strong tradition of excellence. We offer a variety of ensembles, including a competitive marching band in the fall and a Winter Guard in the winter/spring. We are looking for someone with marching band experience who is committed to musical growth and performance.Responsibilities: -Design and instruct visually appealing and thematically appropriate routines that complement the musical selections.-Adapt choreography to the skill level of the students, ensuring progressive development.-Collaborate with the Marching Band Director and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and successful marching band program.-Attend all rehearsals, competitions, and performances.-Design a routine and run rehearsals for Winter Guard during the winter and spring.-Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.Qualifications: Proven experience in color guard instruction and choreography.Strong knowledge of color guard technique and performance standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels.Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.Background check clearance.Previous high school or college level color guard experience preferred.Experience with winter guard is a plus.Working Conditions: Available for the 2026-2027 school year.Responsibilities fall primarily between August and May.To Apply: Questions about the position should be directed to Brandi Lane, Marching Band Director, Blane@ebps.netPlease submit a resume, cover letter outlining your experience working with marching bands, and two letters of reference to Lynda Maccini Pavloff, Director of Music, Lmaccinipavloff@ebps.net
