What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Strongbox Security Services, LLC?
General Description: Professional Security Officer responsible for watching over client site in Franklin, MA. Guard will perform access control and act as a visual deterrent on site. Responsible for detecting and reporting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. Security Officer must be observant, punctual, respectful, responsible, calm, and able to de-escalate situations.
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 11pm-7am
Responsibilities:
- Conducting foot patrols of sites regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
- Conduct access control for foot traffic
- Observe and Report
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows during shift and at end of shift
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify issues
- Respond to alarms if required by clients
- Submit daily activity reports using company-provided software
- Provide a professional level of service to clients/customers
Requirements:
- License and Vehicle
- 21 years of age
- Must be Vaccinated
- Word, Excel, Office experience.
- Pass a CORI(background check)
- Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Excellent observation skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Experience as a security guard and/or Military/Law Enforcement.
- Knowledge of legal guidance for area security and public safety
- Tech-savvy
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
- High School Diploma
Expectations:
- Ability to stand, walk, and climbs stairs for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to conduct interior and exterior foot patrols.
- Dependable and reliable attendance record.
- Maintain a drug-free workplace.

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make decisions with limited supervision
