- POSITION SUMMARY
- Management of CIEDs includes several key components to ensure patient safety and optimal device function. These components occur both in clinics and remotely. These components consist of device type identification, device function review (i.e., interrogation and evaluation of data), review of patient history, device setting adjustments, monitoring of alerts, patient education, scheduling patients, documentation, communication with providers and patients, initiating protocols/orders, assign accurate coding for billing , navigating the electronic health record (EHR) with systems that do not integrate into the EHR (i.e., third-party applications). Patient care and patient engagement are elevated and require keeping up with advancements in CIED technology and ongoing professional development of staff.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- High School degree or Associates degree
Minimum Experience- 5 Years in a clinical health field, preferrably cardiology, ECG skills

Preferred Education- Associates degree
Preferred Experience- Greater than 5 years in clinical cardiology
