- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Charge Nurse will provide direct patient care as well as supervise staff on the psychiatric unit. They will serve as a resource and a mentor to staff. Promote a culture of safety and identify areas for improvement. This person will have strong communication skills and instill a team approach and EAMC values.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Associates degree in nursing or equivalent.
Minimum Experience- N/A
Required Registration/License/Certification- Registered Nursing license.
- BLS and CPI within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Education- Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent
Preferred Experience- Experience in psychiatry.
- Recent hospital experience preferred.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- N/A
