This position focuses on conceptualizing and executing integrated strategies and tactics to support the brand and communications needs within the marketing team. Reporting to the Associate Director Marketing, Brand and Communications
Core Objective:
The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing effective communication strategies and plans across a variety of internal audiences. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to build a strong understanding of the business and team needs, ensure consistency in messaging, and support the overall employee experience through creating clear communications, tools and resources.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including newsletters, emails, SharePoint/Intranet, virtual townhalls and in-person events
- Support employee engagement activities and initiatives to help create a dynamic and meaningful work environment for a predominantly virtual team
- Maintain a teamwide internal content calendar as well as create and maintain team- or activity-specific communications campaigns and plans
- Collaborate with functional teams and human resources to identify communication needs and solutions, search for stories and news to share across the team
- Support employer branding needs related to overall recruiting program
- Guide in-person employee event planning, with a focus on developing event strategy and promotion plan
- Bring innovative ideas to help shape team culture, support business priorities and overall team understanding of mission of the business
- Be a brand champion, work with Brand and Communications Manager to identify and support internal branding needs
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is required. A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, communications or event planning/management is preferred, with a proven track record in developing successful communication strategies.

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
